About Us

Star-Lite Express was started in 1989 by Director Joann Hanrahan and has continued to grow. We currently have approx. 120 students from ages 5 through 15. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a positive direction for the youth of our communities. Currently, we are located in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Our programs run year round. Classes include instruction in baton twirling, poms, tumbling, rifle, flag and saber. For more information, please call 954-427-2967 or email twirltoo@aol.com

Class Information

Come twirl yourself to fun and make new friends while learning baton twirling, tumbling, and dance with poms. This exciting program is designed to enhance self-esteem, character, coordination and physical fitness. Our students perform in parades, shows and special events. Intermediate level and higher students perform annually in Walt disney World's Magic Kingdom parade in February and Universal Studios' Macy's Christmas Parade in December.

tiny tots (ages 5-6) 5:30-6pm; $20 per 4 classes month(Boca resident) $25 (non-resident)
beginner (ages 7 & up) 6-7pm; $30 per 4 classes(Boca resident) $37 (non-resident)
Intermediate (age 7 & up) 7-8pm; $30 per 4 classes(Boca resident) $37 (non-resident)
Advanced (ages 7 & up) 8-9pm;  $30 per 4 classes(Boca resident) $37 (non-resident)

Tuesday:  Constitution Park, Deerfield Beach

Wednesday: Pompano Civic Center, (Emma Lou Olsen Center, 1801 NE 6 Street, Pompano Beach)

Students, be ready for class!
All students must be properly prepared for class. Parents, please check your child's equipment. Many students come to class without their poms, baton, etc. Please be sure that their equipment is taped and marked with their name. If you need to purchase poms or a baton (etc) please contact Ms Joann. Some items are immediately available.
